Wild Clover’s debut Hops Harvest Festival offers finest craft beers in May!
In celebration of the close of another successful harvest at the South African hops farms near George, Wild Clover will host the Hops Harvest Festival from 10-12 May on their farm in Stellenbosch.
This weekend-long celebration is for the whole family, with a focus on beer tasting from a variety of suppliers of hand-crafted beers including Wild Clover’s own specialty brews. There will be entertainment for the children, live music and delicious warm food to complement the beer, such as Wild Boar on the spit and a few German delights too.
Under the watchful eye of owner-brewer Ampie Kruger, Wild Clover currently produces four natural beers; an English Ale; an Irish Porter; a German Pils and a fruity Belgian Wit. Ampie is always happy to talk beer with aficionados and beer-lovers and is passionate about the art of brewing. The Hops Harvest Festival will bring together many of the country’s finest craft breweries, offering the chance to sample a selection of fine locally brewed beers in one place.
There is plenty of secure parking on the farm, as well as chauffeur operators and shuttle services available to get you home safely. To enquire about all this and more, contact email@example.com or call 021 865 2248.

We are on the R304, about 2 .5 Kms from the N1, towards Stellenbosch on the right hand (Cape Town) side of the road. Only half an hour from Cape Town and 20 minutes from the northern suburbs, Wild Clover has the air of the country combined with the hospitality and warmth of a family-owned estate – and you are most welcome to join us there.
A sense of space, ease and comfort embraces you as you turn off the R304 into Wild Clover and leave the visual landmarks of the sweeping Simonsberg to your left.
An old saying ‘to be in clover’ means to live a carefree life of ease, comfort and prosperity. While this originally referred to the fact that clover is rather good for cattle, it certainly is an appropriate introduction to Wild Clover’s wholesome and gentle approach to appreciating the finer things in life
